Standard model

Standard model in particle physics is a theory to explain the fundamental force in universe. Standard model can explain three of the fundamental force. These three fundamental forces are electromagnetic force, strong force and weak force. The limitation of standard model is that it can not explain gravitational force.

The experimental evidence of existing of quark is the great evidence and authenticity of standard model. Another strength of standard model is the existence of top quark, tau nutrino and Higgs Boson particles

Standard model have great success of explaining the fundamental interaction. But yet, it have some limitation. Due to these limitation standard model can not be a full and complete theory of fundamental interaction.

Standard model can not explain baryon asymmetry. Einsteins general theory of relativity describes an important phenomena so called theory of gravitation. Standard model not only fails to explain baryon asymmetry but also do not incorporate the theory of gravitation. In standard model no content of dark matter exists. It can not explain neutrino oscillation.


Though, Standard model have a wide range of limitation, it is the theoretical paradigm of quantum field theory that exhibits Symmerty breakdown and anomalies.
